Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to examine the service management of the Free Halal Certification Program (SEHATI) provided by the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of Yogyakarta City to owners of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs). It also seeks to understand the procedures involved in the implementation of service management within the SEHATI program.

Design/methods/approach – This research adopts a field research approach, conducted directly at the site of the study object. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation.

Findings – The findings indicate that the service management implemented by BAZNAS Yogyakarta City in the SEHATI program aligns with the service management theory proposed by Ratminto and Atik Septi Winarsih. The service management process includes key stages such as planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation. Both the quality and quantity of the services provided reflect the characteristics of effective service delivery.
