Abstract

Purpose – Strategic management is basically a management of decisions that are fundamental and comprehensive in nature, by determining how to implement programs that have been created and implemented in organizations or companies. This study aims to describe the strategic management carried out by Majelis Tabligh of PWM DIY.

Design/methods/approachThe research method used is descriptive qualitative, using primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity techniques use triangulation of data sources and triangulation of data collection. Data analysis methods used include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.

Findings – The findings of this study describe the internal and external environment of the Muhammadiyah Tabligh Council, the strategy of the Muhammadiyah Tabligh Council in developing programs, preparing budgets, and implementing procedures, including evaluating strategies for continuous improvement.
