Enhancing Economic Resilience through Village-Owned Enterprises
A Case Study from Central Kalimantan

This article examines how village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) contribute to economic resilience in rural Central Kalimantan. Through a qualitative case study, the research highlights a successful model of BUMDes that manages agroforestry products and reinvests profits in community welfare. Factors contributing to success include inclusive leadership, transparent management, and community training. The findings emphasize the role of BUMDes not only in economic development but also in strengthening local identity and social capital.
