Ecoliteracy Education for Sustainable Behavior
A School–Community Partnership Model

This research presents a school–community partnership in Central Java that integrates ecoliteracy education into everyday practices of students and their families. Activities included waste segregation, home composting, and community garden projects. Post-program assessment shows increased student awareness of environmental issues, reduced household waste, and stronger collaboration between schools and residents. The study highlights the importance of experiential learning and local collaboration in fostering sustainable behavior from an early age.
